# LOIS for Word Microsoft Word add-in

## How to install

Follow our [Admin Setup Guide](/reference/word/admin-setup) or use the Microsoft 365 Integrated Apps flow:

1. Go to [admin.microsoft.com](https://admin.microsoft.com/#/Settings/IntegratedApps)
2. Search for "LOIS for Word" and install the add-in
3. Assign access to users in the fly-out panel

Only `.docx`. For PDFs, we auto-convert to `.docx` for review.

**Is my data secure?**
Yes. Data is encrypted (AES-256 at rest, TLS 1.2+ in transit), never used for training, and protected by our Zero Data Retention agreements with model providers.
