# Supported Microsoft 365 plans

> Which Microsoft 365 plans are compatible with the LOIS for Word add-in, including supported subscriptions, deployment requirements, and known limits.

## Overview

LOIS for Word works with most Microsoft 365 plans. Before installing, confirm your plan is supported. Enterprise deployments may require IT administrator approval.

## Supported plans

| Microsoft 365 Business Basic/Standard/Premium       | Supported     |
| Microsoft 365 for Enterprise (with Exchange Online) | Supported     |
| Microsoft Office Home & Business 2024               | Not supported |
| Office LTSC                                         | Not supported |
| Microsoft Office 2019                               | Not supported |
| Microsoft Office 2016                               | Not supported |

## Requirements

For supported plans:

* Current version of Microsoft Word installed
* Signed in with your Microsoft account
* For enterprise plans, Exchange Online must be enabled
* Business plans require access to Word (cloud/web versions supported)
