In the web app, select the history icon in the Composer panel header. The Chat history drawer opens over the panel. In the Word add-in, select the history icon in the header of either the Composer or Review tab.

Filtering the list
Use the search box at the top of either drawer to filter by title. The Word add-in adds two more filters:- Scope — switch between This document and All documents.
- Type — use the filter button in the search field to show or hide Composer chats, Agent reviews, and Reviews.
Renaming
- Open the row’s overflow menu and select Rename.
- Edit the title inline.
- Press Enter or select Save.

Retention
Chats are cleaned up automatically based on your organization’s retention policy. Admins can configure it in Organization settings, or open it from Retention policy in the add-in drawer’s overflow menu. To keep a chat, open its overflow menu in the Word add-in and select Retain indefinitely. A lock icon appears on the row, and the chat is protected from cleanup until you select Allow auto-cleanup.Deleting everything
Open the drawer’s overflow menu and select Delete all. You’ll be asked to confirm, and the action cannot be undone. Retained chats are not deleted.Tips
- Use All documents when you remember a past conversation but not which file it was in.
- Use This document to see everything discussed or run against the current contract.
- Rename important items (for example,
MSA - Acme - round 2) to make them easier to find later. - Retain a chat before a long negotiation so cleanup doesn’t remove the thread mid-deal.
