The Word add-in brings structured contract review and document-aware AI into the Microsoft Word sidebar. It works with the active document, so you can inspect issues, draft language, and apply changes without moving content between tools.

Playbook review

Use the Playbook experience to review a document against your organization’s standards:

• Select the profile and playbook that apply to the review.
• Run checks that identify whether contract language passes or fails your requirements.
• Review proposed redlines, comments, explanations, fallback positions, and risk levels.
• Accept, edit, or reject each proposed change before it is applied.
• View precedent examples linked to a check for additional context.

Composer

Use Composer for questions and tasks that do not require a structured playbook review:

• Ask questions about the active document or selected text.
• Draft clauses, summaries, emails, issue lists, and other structured output.
• Request targeted redlines or broader document changes.
• Attach files or Filevine project context.
• Use saved prompts for recurring workflows.
• Run an agent review from chat when a request requires a full-document review.
